Softball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton lost to Brighton on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Redskins fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-2. The Redskins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kylinn Long was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlynn Benschoter, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Brighton, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-16 record this season.

Clinton will face off against Blissfield at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Brighton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
