Basketball Recap: Eureka Takes a Loss

Eureka lost against Lafayette last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. The Eureka Wildcats were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 47-46 to the Lafayette Lancers. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Eureka has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Lafayette, they now also have a winning record of 4-3.

Eureka will head out on the road to square off against Parkway North at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Eureka is facing Parkway North at the right time seeing as Parkway North is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lafayette, they will look to defend their home court on January 7, 2025 against Liberty at 6:00 p.m.
