Volleyball Recap: Episcopal Victorious

Episcopal lost to Clear Lake back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Knights narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Falcons 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted since August 14th.

Episcopal had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-17, 25-19.

The win got Episcopal back to even at 8-8-1. As for Clear Lake, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-7.

Episcopal has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Mayde Creek on the 4th. As for Clear Lake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Stratford on the 4th.
