Dayton hadn't done well against Churchill County recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Dust Devils came out on top in a nail-biter against the Greenwave, sneaking past 4-3. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 13-2 win on Saturday.

The team relied heavily on Beau Walker, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dallan Cowee, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Dayton and bumps their season record up to 13-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Churchill County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.
