Softball Recap: Sebring Extends Winning Streak to Three

Sebring extended their postseason success on Thursday against East River. They won by a run and slipped past the Falcons 6-5. The win was nothing new for the Blue Streaks as they're now sitting on three straight.

Tera Lynn Price made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games she's played.

In other batting news, Cailyn McWaters was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Sebring's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for East River, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-8.

As of now, neither Sebring nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
