Winning is just a little bit easier when you outrebound your opponent 12 to 5 on the offensive boards, a fact the Red Lion Christian Academy Lions proved on Tuesday. They blew past McKean, posting a 49-19 victory on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Red Lion Christian Academy.

Red Lion Christian Academy was led to victory by Lauren Romjue and Aniya Freeman. Romjue dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds, while Freeman scored 17 points along with five steals. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which Freeman has scored at least a third of Red Lion Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Aziza Tall, who scored seven points along with five assists and two steals.

Despite the loss, McKean still got an impressive performance from Alexus Barlow, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. It was the first time this season that Barlow pulled down eight or more rebounds.

The win got Red Lion Christian Academy back to even at 6-6. As for McKean, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Lion Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Rams at 3:15 p.m. on February 1st. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Delaware (Dickinson is ranked 39th, while the Lions are ranked 41st). As for McKean, they will head out on the road to challenge the Wolves at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
