Soccer Game Preview: Half Moon Bay vs. Mills

The Half Moon Bay Cougars will take on the Mills Vikings at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Half Moon Bay's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Half Moon Bay is headed into Wednesday's contest following a draw, the team's first since December 10. Neither they nor Aragon could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Mills kept a clean sheet against Jefferson back in December of 2025. They had just enough and edged out the Grizzlies 1-0. Mills haven't had any issues with Jefferson recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Half Moon Bay's draw gives them a new season record of 3-2-2. As for Mills, the victory was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 2-3.

Half Moon Bay beat Mills 2-0 in their previous meeting back in January of 2025. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
