Softball Recap: Huron River Rats vs. Jackson Vikings

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Huron). They blew past the Jackson Vikings 27-5 on Wednesday. With that win, the River Rats brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Olivia Finnie made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs but no hits. Finnie was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.
