 It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chaparral can now relate to. They fell  5-2 to the Prairie View Thunderhawks on Saturday. Chaparral has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

 Even though they lost, Chaparral was hitting in the alleys and  finished the game with three  doubles. This was only their first loss (out of four games) when  they post three or more  doubles.
 On Prairie View's side,  Favi Gaeta made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits. Gaeta has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in ten consecutive pitching appearances. Gaeta was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Jerry Stone, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.  Giovanni Tarin was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Prairie View, their victory bumped their record up to 22-5.
 Chaparral does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Prairie View, they will be staying on the road  on Saturday to face off against Cherokee Trail at 12:00  p.m. Cherokee Trail is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5  runs per game  this season.
