Baseball Recap: Shoreham-Wading River Comes Up Short

Shoreham-Wading River suffered their closest loss since April 5th on Friday. They fell just short of the Kings Park Kingsmen by a score of 4-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Kingsmen this season, with their most recent defeat being a 1-0 loss on Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for Shoreham-Wading River and nudges their season record down to 7-7. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Kings Park, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-7.
