Chase came up into this matchup off a tough 24-point loss on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Natoma by a score of 44-41 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Central Plains' undefeated season came to an end after three games on Saturday. They received a blow as they fell 57-42 to Sunrise Christian Academy. The loss was the Oilers' first of the season.

Chase's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Central Plains, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Chase took a serious blow against Central Plains in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 61-15. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Chase was down 45-7.
