Volleyball Recap: Fairfield Gets the Win

After losing to Hamilton the last time they met, Fairfield decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Indians came out on top against the Big Blue by a score of 3-1 on Monday.

Fairfield had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-20.

Among those leading the charge was Mikee Lawson, who had eight digs and one assist. Zoey Adams also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Fairfield was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Fairfield now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Hamilton, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.
