Soccer Game Preview: Yelm vs. Bethel

The Yelm Tornados will face off against the Bethel Bison at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Yelm's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Yelm is looking to pick up the season's first win, something they couldn't quite do against Orting on Friday. Neither Yelm nor Orting could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Bethel came up short against Washington on Friday and fell 4-2. The loss was Bethel's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bethel fell to 2-1-2. Yelm's draw makes their record 0-6-1 this season.

Yelm couldn't quite get it done against Bethel in their previous matchup back in March of 2018 as they fell 2-0. Can Yelm avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
