Volleyball Game Preview: Geneseo Maple Leafs vs. Rock Island Rocks + How To Watch

The Geneseo Maple Leafs are taking a road trip to square off against the Rock Island Rocks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Geneseo will be strutting in after a win while Rock Island will be coming in after a loss.

On Monday, Geneseo was able to grind out a solid victory over Dixon, taking the game 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Maple Leafs in their matchups with the Dukes & Duchesses: they've now won four in a row.

Geneseo didn't let Dixon take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 26-24, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Rock Island didn't have quite enough to beat St. Joseph-Ogden on Saturday and fell 2-1. The Rocks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Geneseo's victory bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Rock Island, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-16.

Geneseo beat Rock Island 2-0 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Maple Leafs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
