After flying high against Groveton two weeks ago, Frankston came back down to earth. The Frankston Indians came up short against the Mildred Eagles on Friday, falling 45-20.
A big part of Mildred's win came down to the chemistry between Luke McKendree and his top target Ashton Frye. McKendree threw for 134 yards and a touchdown while Frye picked up 52 receiving yards. An impressive showing, but Frye really ramped things up playing D: he forced a fumble and made four total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
Frankston's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Mildred, the victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
