Soccer Game Preview: Van Nuys vs. Panorama

The Van Nuys Wolves will square off against the Panorama Pythons at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Wednesday, Van Nuys and Sylmar finished up their match with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Panorama was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Reseda. While losing is never fun, Panorama can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 811th, while Reseda are ranked 334th).

Van Nuys' draw gives them a new season record of 10-9-4. As for Panorama, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12-1.

Everything went Van Nuys' way against Panorama in their previous meeting on Monday, as Van Nuys made off with a 4-0 win. Will Wolves repeat their success, or do the Pythons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
