Basketball Game Preview: Milburn Eagles vs. Oklahoma School for the Deaf Bison

The Milburn Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Oklahoma School for the Deaf Bison at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Milburn beats Oklahoma School for the Deaf with 50 points on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. Milburn took down Calvin 50-35 two weeks ago. The Eagles didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma School for the Deaf was able to grind out a solid win over Arkansas School for the Deaf on Saturday, taking the game 45-36.

Oklahoma School for the Deaf is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Milburn, their record is now 5-10.

Milburn was dealt a bruising 56-25 loss at the hands of Oklahoma School for the Deaf in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Milburn avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
