Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only American Heritage walked away with it. They never let the Belen Jesuit Wolverines get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Patriots sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.

Mark Aleman tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Dylan Dubovik, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. RJ Machado was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

American Heritage always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Belen Jesuit only posted an OBP of .208.

American Heritage pushed their record up to 26-6 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Belen Jesuit, they now have a losing record of 16-17.
