Softball Recap: Glades Day Falls Short of Fort Meade in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Glades Day can now relate to. They came up short against the Fort Meade Miners on Tuesday, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 24 runs in the game before, the Gators' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Glades Day's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Fort Meade, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.

Glades Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Meade, they will challenge Moore Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Miners' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Terriers have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season.
