It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fountain Valley had no problem doing just that on Friday. They skirted past the El Segundo Eagles 4-2. This was payback for the Barons, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Tyler Peshke was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
