Basketball Game Preview: Stockton Christian Eagles vs. Mt. Shasta Bears

The Stockton Christian Eagles and the Mt. Shasta Bears will face off at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Stockton Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season.

Stockton Christian will head out to face Mt. Shasta after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. Stockton Christian took a blow against Ripon, falling 81-41. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-17.

Despite the loss, Stockton Christian got top-tier performance from Jayden Chamblee, who posted 25 points. The match was Chamblee's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Grant Lopez, who scored six points.

Meanwhile, Mt. Shasta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 65-54 to West Campus.

Mt. Shasta now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Stockton Christian, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-5.
