Soccer Recap: Shadow Hills Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matches, Shadow Hills finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to the Rancho Mirage Rattlers. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Knights couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Gabriel Reyna, who's now up to two this season.

Shadow Hills' loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-3-1. As for Rancho Mirage, they pushed their record up to 10-2-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Shadow Hills wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against La Quinta on the 22nd. As for Rancho Mirage, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Palm Springs on the 22nd.
