Volleyball Recap: Deer Trail Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Deer Trail was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Stratton, falling 3-0. Deer Trail was not able to make up for their defeat to Stratton from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-19, 25-5.

Vailini Samate paced Deer Trail's offense, picking up five kills. Samate got some help from Landree Cox and her three assists.

Deer Trail's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Stratton, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Deer Trail wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Sierra Grande on the 5th. As for Stratton, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Genoa-Hugo/Karval on the 4th.
