Baseball Recap: Columbia Comes Up Short

Columbia fell victim to River View and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 18-0 to the Panthers. The Coyotes have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for River View, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia will take on Connell at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Coyotes are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for River View, they will be playing at home against Sunnyside Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
