Baseball Recap: St. Martin Takes a Loss

St. Martin was the 4-3 winner over Biloxi when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Yellow Jackets fell 8-4 to the Indians on Friday.

St. Martin saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Lawrence, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

St. Martin's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-12. As for Biloxi, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: St. Martin beat the Indians by a score of 13-4 on Saturday.
