Lake has won six straight games at home, while Sebastopol has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. Lake will host Sebastopol at 6:30 p.m. Lake is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.5 runs per game this season.
On Thursday, Lake made easy work of Newton and carried off a 19-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won seven in a row.

Ceely Graham made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five). She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Lake got a massive performance out of Adyson Mcknight, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that Mcknight snagged this season. Daelyn Earls was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Lake always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .677. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Sebastopol posted their closest victory since February 25th on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Clarkdale 5-4.
Sebastopol let Hanna Boleware and Jaylee Coleman run wild. Boleware went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI, while Coleman went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Marlee Smith, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.
Sebastopol's win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.
Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Lake hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .405. However, it's not like Sebastopol struggles in that department as they've averaged .437. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Lake couldn't quite get it done against Sebastopol when the teams last played back in February as they fell 22-17. Will Lake have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
