Basketball Recap: Martin County West Extends Winning Streak to Six

Martin County West put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman Jaguars by a score of 58-48. For the Mavericks, this counts as revenge for the 66-33 victory the Jaguars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Martin County West pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Martin County West will head out to face off against Fairmont at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Fairmont will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Martin County West surely won't give up without a fight. As for Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman, they will welcome Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
