Softball Recap: West Mifflin Titans vs. Ringgold Rams
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Mifflin). Everything went their way against the Ringgold Rams on Monday as they made off with a 12-0 win. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
RYLIE DOBNAK made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.
In other batting news, KALEIGH TATTERS was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of ADILEE SALOPEK, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
