They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Indians' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Alex Vinton was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when East Lee County took on Dunbar last Thursday. East Lee County put the hurt on Dunbar with a sharp 11-0 victory. The Jaguars have beaten the Tigers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tigers has come to flipping the script.

East Lee County picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Immokalee, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Everything went Immokalee's way against East Lee County in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Immokalee made off with a 17-0 victory. Will Immokalee repeat their success, or does East Lee County has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
