Foothill got themselves on the board against Eldorado on Friday, but Eldorado never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Sundevils with a sharp 11-0 victory. Considering the Falcons have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Liam Wells looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).
On the hitting side, Foothill let Calob Piehler and Nolan Gifford run wild. Piehler went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run, while Gifford got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
