Soccer Recap: Aspen Comes Up Short

Aspen lost against Steamboat Springs back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Skiers came up short against the Sailors, falling 5-0. Aspen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aspen now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Steamboat Springs, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aspen will face off against Moffat County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Aspen will be up against Moffat County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.4 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Steamboat Springs, they will challenge Delta at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
