Softball Recap: King Falls Short of Valley View in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact King can now relate to. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valley View Eagles on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Wolves couldn't push the score so high this time.

King moved to 15-11-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Valley View, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season.

King does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valley View, they will square off against Temescal Canyon at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. The Titans will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
