Basketball Game Preview: Germantown Christian Cardinals vs. Dominion Academy Sabers

For the first time this season, Germantown Christian will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dominion Academy Sabers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Friday, Germantown Christian ended up a good deal behind Liberty Bible Academy and lost 55-38.

Despite the defeat, Germantown Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Daniel Kroger shot 50% from the field en route to 13 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Jonah Shreves, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, Dominion Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 49-29 to Liberty Bible Academy on Tuesday.
