Volleyball Recap: Berean Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Berean Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Campolindo Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Berean Christian wouldn't go down easily and took Campolindo into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking ten-point loss. The final score came out to 25-16, 21-25, 23-25, 25-14, 15-5.

Among those leading the charge was Sierra Worster, who had 15 digs and five assists. Those 15 digs gave her a new career-high. Olivia Britton also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Berean Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Campolindo, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Berean Christian and Campolindo should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Eagles (ranked 401st) will meet Alhambra (ranked 843rd) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Campolindo will face off against College Park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (57 vs. 200).
