Volleyball Recap: Ford Find Success

Ford picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy 2-1.

Maria Aguilar had a dynamite game, getting 24 digs. Another player making a difference was Carsyn Chapman, who had six digs and one assist.

The victory got Ford back to even at 1-1. As for Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Ford will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Lone Oak at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cumby at 4:30 p.m. on September 5.
