Volleyball Recap: Statesboro Gets the Win

While Statesboro didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Calvary Day Cavaliers by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The Blue Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cavaliers, too.

The victory didn't come easy: Calvary Day scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21.

Statesboro's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Calvary Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Coincidentally, Statesboro and Calvary Day will both be playing Southeast Bulloch the next time they take the court. The Cavaliers will host the Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Blue Devils will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
