Volleyball Recap: Minarets Has No Trouble Against Central

The Minarets Mustangs got the win against the Central Grizzlies on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Minarets found their leader in sophomore Olivia Fontanilla, who had ten digs and four assists.

Minarets' victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Minarets will host Orosi at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Central, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Caruthers at 6:00 p.m. on September 4.
