Even though the Bucktail Bucks scored an imposing 58 points on Tuesday, the Neumann Regional Academy Golden Knights still came out on top. Neumann Regional Academy rang in the new year with a 67-58 victory over Bucktail. That's another feather in the cap for Neumann Regional Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Neumann Regional Academy was led to victory by Messiah Baldwin and Tyrick Moy. Baldwin scored 23 points, while Moy scored 22 points. The matchup was Baldwin's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Gino Birch, who scored 13 points.
Neumann Regional Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Bucktail, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
