After a string of three wins, Drummond's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 69-61 to the Bayfield Trollers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lumberjacks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-43 back in December of 2024.

Quintin Bresette continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bayfield, almost dropping a double-double on 26 points and nine assists. The match was Bresette's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Remy Cadotte, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 17 points along with six boards and five steals.

Drummond's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6. As for Bayfield, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Drummond has already played their next contest, a 49-42 win against Hurley on the 28th. As for Bayfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-61 victory against Solon Springs on the 28th.
