Thomasville is a perfect 10-0 against Washington County since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tigers will welcome the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Thomasville's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Washington County's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Thomasville turned things around against Demopolis on Tuesday. They walked away with a 9-6 win over Demopolis.

Thomasville got a big performance out of Denaijah Scott, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Those two hits gave Scott a new career-high. Crimson Thibodeaux was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Washington County finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against Millry, falling 10-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Washington County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddie McKinley, who went 1-for-2 with one triple. That triple marked the first that McKinley has hit this season.

Thomasville's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 26-9. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Washington County, their loss dropped their record down to 12-15.

Thomasville took their victory against Washington County in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 16-3 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
