Volleyball Recap: Allison Lapoint and Braelyn Bilow Secure Win for Northern Adirondack

Northern Adirondack's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Northeastern Clinton Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-20.

Northern Adirondack was led to victory by Braelyn Bilow and Allison LaPoint. Bilow had eight aces, seven kills, and six digs, while LaPoint had nine digs, five aces, and three blocks. That's the most kills Bilow has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Kendel Chapple, who had ten kills and six digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Northern Adirondack was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive matchups.

Northern Adirondack's victory bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Northeastern Clinton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Northern Adirondack will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Saranac at 6:00 p.m. Northeastern Clinton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
