Soccer Recap: Acton-Boxborough Takes a Loss

Acton-Boxborough managed to keep up with Beverly until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Revolution lost 4-1 to the Panthers. While losing is never fun, Acton-Boxborough can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 220th, while Beverly are ranked sixth).

Acton-Boxborough's loss dropped their record down to 2-12-4. As for Beverly, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Acton-Boxborough will host Cambridge Rindge & Latin at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beverly, they will face off against Newburyport at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
