Volleyball Recap: Bishop Leblond Beats St. Joseph Christian for Their Fourth Straight Win

Bishop LeBlond waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the St. Joseph Christian Lions by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ella Frazee paced Bishop LeBlond's offense, picking up six kills. Frazee got some help from Kendall Cathcart and her 12 assists. Cathcart was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Bishop LeBlond's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for St. Joseph Christian, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-3.

Coincidentally, Bishop LeBlond and St. Joseph Christian will both be playing Excelsior Springs the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Tigers at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
