Richmond scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were outmatched by the Foothill Mustangs and fell 53-6.

Richmond's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Foothill, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Richmond and Foothill will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Oilers will face off against rival Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. Meanwhile, Foothill is set to take on their familiar foe Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
