Bullard is 4-0 against Madisonville since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Bullard Panthers will host the Madisonville Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. Bullard knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Madisonville likes a good challenge.

It was a proper cat-fight when Bullard faced off against Palestine on Tuesday. Bullard walked away with a 65-55 victory over Palestine.

Meanwhile, Madisonville came up short against Hudson on Tuesday and fell 57-46. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Mustangs came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 243rd, while the Hornets are ranked 604th).

Bullard has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Madisonville, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 17-5.

Everything went Bullard's way against Madisonville when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as Bullard made off with a 77-51 win. Will Bullard repeat their success, or does Madisonville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
