Wilmington Christian Academy's win came from a few key players Coastal Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Trent Davies, who shot 67% from the field to rack up 14 points in addition to six assists and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Maddox Batts, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards.

Wilmington Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Coastal Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Wilmington Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2020, winning 70-57.
