Carlson gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Melvindale Cardinals as they made off with a 17-6 win. The victory continues a trend for the Marauders in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won five in a row.

Noah Borowski was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI and three runs. Joe Borowski was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
