 The Chowchilla Tribe will head out on the road to  square off against  the Minarets Mustangs at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Chowchilla is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.2  runs per game  this season.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Chowchilla gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  an  11-0 margin over Caruthers. The  win was nothing new for Chowchilla as they're now sitting on three straight.
 Not much got past  Nick Grissom, who gave up just  zero  hits and racked up 19 Ks to keep Caruthers off the board. Grissom has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Dillon Watkins was a standout: he scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.  Davian Stephenson was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with a  triple, a  run,  and  an  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Minarets' offense. They suffered a  tough 17-0 loss at the hands of Liberty  on Friday. Minarets has struggled against Liberty recently, as their  contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
 Chowchilla's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Minarets, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-16.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Chowchilla has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 8.2  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Minarets struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 7.9.
