Basketball Recap: Clifton Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Clifton Mustangs had to suffer through a 86-59 loss at the hands of the Lyndhurst Golden Bears.

Clifton's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Lyndhurst, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clifton will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Eastside at 4:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Lyndhurst, they will be playing at home against Weehawken at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
