Basketball Recap: Pine Island Takes a Loss

Pine Island lost against Kasson-Mantorville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pine Island Panthers fell 74-63 to the Kasson-Mantorville Komets.

Pine Island's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Kasson-Mantorville, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pine Island and La Crescent will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kasson-Mantorville, they will take on St. Francis at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Kasson-Mantorville is facing St. Francis at the right time seeing as St. Francis is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
